The word "Eyecare" is in our name for a reason. Our lenses are not just there to open your eyes to the real and true in the world. They also fulfill another function: protection. Especially when your eyes are exposed to seemingly harmless sunlight, this can have a negative effect on your eyesight. The blue-violet wavelengths contained in natural light are potentially harmful due to their intensity.
That's why we optionally equip our lenses with ESM: Eye Safety Material. Using a polymer integrated into the lens material, ESM filters out up to 100% of potentially harmful blue light. Our UV filter for the lens, on the other hand, lets 90% of blue-turquoise light through.

The TRANSITIONS® GEN S™ lens is the latest generation of TRANSITIONS® GEN S™. This lens is designed to quickly darken when exposed to sunlight. This gives it a decisive advantage over classic clear lenses. The TRANSITIONS® GEN S™ lenses constantly adapt to changing light conditions - their tint is therefore perfect in every situation.

KEEP
TRANSITIONS® technology is also available in a version for driving. Most windshields filter out UV rays, which makes darkening the lenses almost impossible. The TRANSITIONS® XTRACTIVE® NEW GENERATION lenses, which are much darker on the outside, also tint behind a windshield and offer a discreet intensity on the inside.

POLARIZATION
Keep your eyes open even in bright light.
In situations with extreme brightness (at the sea, in the mountains, when driving), polarized glass provides additional protection against glare and reflections without affecting the images.
Polarized lenses have a filter that minimizes all reflections caused by reflective surfaces such as water, snow or the road. Extremely small crystals ensure that only vertical light penetrates to the eyes and horizontal light is absorbed. Thanks to the optimized perception, visual acuity improves.
